How we are different
EOR Overview is a research platform, not a provider and not a pay-to-rank comparison site. This page explains what that means, and how EOR Overview relates to its sibling brands Employ Borderless and EOR Select.
We research providers. We are not one.
EOR Overview does not employ anyone on your behalf, run payroll, or sell EOR services. We build and maintain structured research on Employer of Record providers: country coverage, pricing, compliance capabilities, third-party review data, and detailed provider reviews. When you choose a provider, you contract with that provider directly.
That matters because most information about EOR services is published by the providers themselves. A provider’s website tells you what they want to say. Our job is to put every provider through the same research process so you can compare them on the same facts.
No paid placements, no pay-to-rank
Many comparison sites sell their rankings: providers pay for the top spot, and the “best of” list is really a price list. We do not sell positions, inclusion, or ratings. Rankings come from our research and the same criteria applied to every provider, as described in our methodology. We earn referral fees from a subset of providers, and that funding never changes who we include or how we rank them. The full breakdown is on our disclosure page.
One dataset, same criteria for every provider
Every provider profile is built from the same structure: where a provider can legally employ, what it charges, what its contracts cover, how its platform works, and what verified customers say across independent review platforms. Because the data is collected the same way for everyone, comparisons are consistent instead of a collection of marketing claims.
Part of the Employ Borderless ecosystem
EOR Overview is operated by Employ Borderless PTE. Ltd., a Singapore-based company founded by Robbin Schuchmann and Paul Jansen. The company runs three related but distinct platforms, and it helps to know which is which:
- Employ Borderless (employborderless.com) is an independent advisory platform for global hiring solutions. It publishes in-depth, hands-on tested provider reviews, hiring guides, and research, and advises companies on choosing between EOR, PEO, and payroll options.
- EOR Overview (this site) is the research directory. It focuses on structured, factual provider data: coverage, pricing, comparisons, country hiring guides, and annual awards, so you can evaluate EOR providers side by side.
- EOR Select (eorselect.com) is a comparison engine that scores providers with a documented algorithm and produces ranked shortlists from that score.
The three sites share ownership and an independence policy: none of them accepts payment for rankings, and referral relationships are disclosed on each site.
Who we are not
EOR Overview is not an EOR broker or reseller: we do not take a cut of your contract with a provider, and we do not resell any provider’s services under our own name. We publish research; the employment relationship is always between you and the provider you choose.
